About this policy

This policy explains how Plorai handles information when you use our website, mobile app, AI creation tools, connected social accounts, and publishing features. Contact us at support@plorai.com with privacy questions.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, account identifier, optional display name and avatar, and authentication information.
• Your content: chat messages, prompts, search requests, captions, hashtags, uploaded photos or videos, generated media, drafts, conversation history, and voice transcripts. Voice features transmit audio to our voice provider to understand and answer you.
• Connected accounts: social account identifiers, names, handles, connection authorization information, brand groupings, and publishing or scheduling records.
• Billing and usage: plan, subscription and purchase records, payment-provider identifiers, credit balances and consumption, AI usage, job status, and technical error records. Stripe processes checkout payment details; Plorai does not receive your full card number.
• Optional location: for local results, the mobile app can resolve your location on your device into a city, region, country and timezone. We send that approximate location for relevant results, rather than your precise coordinates. You can enter a location instead.
• Support: information you choose to send when contacting us. Hosting and service providers may process technical connection and security logs.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide and personalize AI conversations, generate and edit content, maintain your drafts and chat context, display your profile, connect the accounts you authorize, publish or schedule your selected posts, process subscriptions and credits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests. Where applicable, we process information to perform our service agreement, with your consent for optional permissions, to meet legal duties, or for legitimate service and security interests.

AI and service providers

We use Supabase for account, database and storage services; OpenAI for AI conversation, research, image and voice features; Kie.ai for supported media animation features; Stripe for billing; Expo for app delivery; and Zernio for connected social publishing. These providers receive the information needed for the feature you use. For example, sending a reference image or speaking in voice mode sends that content to the relevant AI provider. Provider processing and retention follow their applicable terms and policies. Do not include confidential information or information you do not have permission to share in your prompts or uploads.

Public posts and connected networks

Content you publish to Plorai’s public feed may show your display name, avatar and post content to other users. Content sent to an external social network is handled under that network’s rules and privacy policy. Public content may be copied, shared or remixed by others. Connecting a network authorizes the selected integration; Plorai does not ask for your social network password. Review the brand, destination and time before confirming publication.

Device permissions

Camera and selected photo access are optional for avatars and content references. Microphone access is used for voice conversations. Foreground location access is optional for local results. You can revoke permissions in your device settings. We do not use background location tracking, import your address book, or currently collect motion or fitness data. Denying an optional permission does not prevent using unrelated features.

Retention and deletion

We keep account information and saved content while needed to provide the service, honor your settings, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Deleting a chat does not cancel or delete an already scheduled or submitted post or its required media; manage those separately in Calendar. Account deletion requests are available through Settings or by emailing support. We verify requests and delete or de-identify information where appropriate, subject to legal, billing, security and backup retention. Deleting your account does not automatically remove copies already published to external networks or retained by other people.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile, manage saved content and scheduled posts, disconnect social accounts, revoke device permissions, and manage your subscription. Email support@plorai.com to request access, correction, export, deletion, or exercise applicable privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may also object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app targeted advertising. Essential authentication and session storage help keep you signed in.

Security and international processing

We use access controls and service-provider safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, applicable transfer safeguards are used. Only share content and account access you are authorized to provide.

Children and updates

Plorai is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us. We may update this policy as features or requirements change and will identify the latest effective date here and provide additional notice when appropriate.
